Bayaa Branch

Staff from Bayaa Branch visited the widow, Nidhal A, and her family.  She lost her husband, who was the sole breadwinner and provider for the family.  Nidhal is now responsible for taking care of her two children, who, in addition to the need for basic household items, require support to enable them to continue their education. 

The family live in rented accommodation costing 225.000 IQD (approx. £150) per month.  They have no money  apart from some support from the widow's sister, and the income Nidhal earns selling homemade Kubba (a traditional meat dish) in the market.

Nidhal has had to stop working in order to prepare for, and travel, to the province of Kirkuk to apply for social security assistance.

This widow needs: -

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £15) for each orphan (2)

- A donation of 250.00 IQD (approx.£165) to buy a wardrobe.

Please support this young mother who is trying hard to provide a normal life for her orphans.
