Desperate mother appeals for support.

Staff from Grayaat Branch paid a follow-up visit to Ahmad, A.S. and his family. They found that they continued to live in destitution and poverty.

Ahmed is unemployed due to a lack of job opportunities.  He lives with his five children in rented accommodation costing 250.000 IQD (approx. £165) per month.

The children are aged between 6-13 years old.  This family are reliant on the generosity and support of kind-hearted benefactors.

Ahmed and his family are in dire need for continuous, ongoing financial support. One daughter is ill and severely short-sighted in both eyes. She requires monthly examinations and treatment of her eyes and her glasses require frequent replacement.  Her condition is expected to deteriorate and she will need surgery following a year of treatment.

This man needs:

-       Monthly sponsorship of 150.000 IQD (approx. £100) for his sick daughter to pay for medical treatment costs and reviews.

-       A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £65) towards the purchase of clothes and food for his family.
