Staff from Sadr City Branch paid a visit to Mrs. Amna A.

Amna is a 54 year old lady who lives in a rented flat together with her son who is 12 years old, and attends school. The rental for the flat is for 300.000 IQD (approx. £200) per month. This lady, who is divorced, suffers from diabetes, chronic hypertension and a heart condition. Due to her poor health, she is unable to work, and thus receives no salary or source of income apart from the generosity of goodhearted people.

This mother and son are in desperate need of:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship for the mother of 50,000 IQD (approx. £35) to pay for her medical treatment

- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £165) to buy a refrigerator.

- A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of   75,000 IQD (approx. £ 50) to buy mattresses and blankets.

Staff from the branch, the mother and her son call upon people of compassionate hearts to help them.
