On March 17, 2019, staff from Grayaat Branch reviewed the condition of the sick widow, Rabia, whom they had previously visited and launched an appeal for financial support. 

On this visit, they found that she is very old and suffering from several diseases (osteoporosis, fractures, congestion of the arteries of the heart, and chronic pain in the bones and body due to a tragic fall.

This sick widowed woman has no income or support, and is in need of financial and medical assistance from generous benefactors .  She lives in a rented house costing 300,000 IQD (approx. £200) per month.

This lady urgently needs:

1. Ongoing medical sponsorship of 200,000 IQD (approx. £135) per month to pay for medicines and continuous medical appointments.

2. A donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £65) for the purchase of essential food and other in-kind necessities.
