Basra Branch

Our branch staff paid a field visit to the family of widow Basima A. A. who continues to endure suffering under harsh circumstances.

She lives with her family in a simple shanty dwelling lacking many basic necessities.

Basima is entrusted with her orphaned children, one of whom is still studying. They do not have any income except for basic social security benefits and aid from well-wishers. This does not suffice to cover their everyday needs. 

This family needs:

- Ongoing sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £ 15) monthly for each orphan

-  A donation of 360,000 IQD (approx. £240) to buy a fridge/freezer

Branch staff requests that generous people reach out to help this family suffering under harsh circumstances.
