Branch staff visited the family of widow Razaa M. A. who lives with her five orphans in a rented dwelling.  The family suffers from destitution and poverty.

Razaa tries to pay the monthly rent of 300,000 IQD (approx. £200) as well as provide for numerous necessities for the home and children with support that she receives from some well-wishers.

This mother has thyroid gland trouble and a mentally handicapped daughter. She also has four other children of school age.

This family of orphans has no financial income other than help from some well-wishers. They need:

- Monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx £15) for each orphan (5)

- Monthly sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) for the medical attention for the handicapped daughter

- A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £200) to buy a cooker
