Branch staff visited the widow Ahalam F. K. who lives with her orphans in a rented house.

Ahalam is disabled in her hands.  She suffers from a distorted muscle in her left hand. Her right hand was operated on recently and a metal plate has been inserted.

Two of her children are still in school, one of whom suffers from recurring chronic tonsillitis.

There is no breadwinner or source of income for this family, save for minimum social security benefits which they receive every two months, which do not suffice to cover living necessities and the rent.

This family desperately needs:

-  A monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £ 15) for each orphan (2)

-  A donation of 75,000 IQD (approx. £50) to buy school supplies for the orphans

-  A donation of 300,000 IQD (approx. £ 200) to buy a wardrobe

-  A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a cooker

The Branch staff, the widow and the orphans beseech good people to extend a hand of help and charity to them.
