Our staff visited the family of Mrs Zaileh S. K. They found her living with her five orphans in one room in a house belonging to her husband's family.  The room is damp resulting in an unhealthy environment in which to live.  She is unable to pay for repairs.

The home lacks many basic living necessities such as a cooker, air conditioner, refrigerator, bedding, etc.

Zaileh receives no source of income, not even a basic social security benefit as the registration section in the relevant department closed.  She is thus destitute.

Her children are at school and  in need of educational supplies.

This family's immediate needs are:

- A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a cooker

- A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £165) to buy a refrigerator

- A donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £ 65) to buy bedding

- A donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £ 65) to buy an air conditioner

Branch staff and members of this family wish and hope that good people will come forward to help them overcome some of life's difficulties that they are facing.
