In a follow-up visit made by Basra staff to the family of the widow Bashri Dh. H, they found that she continues to suffer life’s difficulties.

This family of three orphans live in a shanty dwelling.  The only income they receive is a social security benefit every two months amounting to 450,000 IQD (approx. £300). This does not suffice to cover their living expenses, and their home lacks  basic necessities like a washing machine and bedding.

They are in need of:

- A monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £ 15) for each orphan (3)

- A donation of 210,000 IQD (approx. £140) to buy a washing machine

- A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £100) to buy bedding

- A donation of 400,000 IQD (approx. £ 265) to buy an air conditioner

Branch staff beseech good people to reach out and help this widow and her orphans who are suffering under difficult circumstances.
