The branch staff visited the family of the widow (A.W) and found that they lived in dire conditions. 

The widow provided support to her four orphans aged 11-19 years after her husband's death, some of them still at school.

This widow lives in a rundown accommodation built without permission and lacked many basic necessities.

This widow receives a pension of 300.000 Iraqi dinars every two months, which does not cover all their food and medicine needs. She has no other source of income other than help from benefactors.

This family needs: -

- A monthly orphans' assistance of 25.000 IQDs (approx £17) for each orphan.

- Financial assistance of 265.000 IQDs (approx £117) to buy a refrigerator.

- Financial assistance  of 150.000 IQDs (approx £100) to buy bed covers.

The branch staff  appeal to all benefactors to extend  a helping hand to this widow to help her support her orphans.
