Sadr City Branch  

Staff from Sadr City Branch visited the house of two elderly ladies who live together in a rundown house built without planning permission. 

These ladies have no children or dependents to support them, and live off a welfare benefit, which does not meet their basic requirements. One of them suffers from a thyroid illness, and needs monthly treatment. 

The other lady suffers from several diseases including heart problems, high blood pressure and diabetes

These elderly women are in need of:

- Ongoing monthly medical sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £ 35) each.

- A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £ 60) to pay for treatment and medical reviews.

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy an air cooler.

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a washing machine.

- A donation of 300.000 IQD (approx. £200) to buy a refrigerator.

The Staff from the branch and the two ladies appeal to kind people to extend a helping hand.
