Among the field visits undertaken by branch staff was a follow up visit to the family of widow Halaa.

Halaa lives with her two orphans in a house which she rents for 300,000 IQD (approx. £215) monthly.

She lost her husband and thus this poor family has no breadwinner.

They urgently need:

Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £35) for each orphan (2)

A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £180) to buy a sewing machine so that she can learn to sew and earn a living to provide for the family.
