Basra Branch:

On a follow-up visit by Basra Branch staff to the family of the widow, Rasha J.F.  it transpired that this family are still suffering severely from the life’s harsh conditions.

Rasha and her family live in a rundown house that lacks most basic necessities.

She provides and takes care of her 5 orphans (aged 3-12), to the best of her limited ability. Some of the children are still in education. Her daughter has vision problems that need to be monitored on a regular basis by doctors.She has no financial resources and is reliant on the help of benefactors, which is not enough to meet their living needs.

This widow is in dire need of: -

- A monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £18) per month for each orphan (x5)

- A monthly medical sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) for the sick daughter.

- - A monthly sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) to buy food.

- A donation of 165.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 185.000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a washing machine.

- A donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) to buy a ceiling fan.

- A donation of 135.000 IQD (approx. £95) to buy a TV set.

The branch staff appeals to benevolent people to help relieve this widow out of the harsh conditions she is facing.
