Basra Branch:

Staff from Basra Branch paid a follow up visit to the family of the widow (Amal A.W), to establish how this family was progressing.  They discovered that this family is still suffering under the harsh conditions of life that they are facing (see below link)

Amal and her family live in a rundown house that lacks many necessities.  She provides for her four orphaned children, to the best of her ability and within the financial constraints she has.  Some of the children still attend school.   This family has no financial support or income apart from a minimal social welfare benefit which they receive every two months, and from time to time, help from generous benefactors.  All this is insufficient to meet their living needs.

 
This widow is in dire need of: -
- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £18) for each orphan (x4)
- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £180) to buy a refrigerator.
- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £110) to buy blankets and mattresses.
 

The branch staff appeal to benevolent people to help this widow overcome the harsh conditions of life she is facing.
