The branch staff visited the widow Salima H.M and her family. They found that they are living under difficult conditions following Salima’s husband's death.
 
This widow is caring and providing for her divorced daughter and her granddaughter, who attends school.  They live in a rundown house that lacks many basic household requirements. The family exists on a basic social welfare benefit which Salima receives every two months.  This is inadequate to meet their basic living requirements.
 
This family is in dire need of: -
 
- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £180) to buy a refrigerator.
 
- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £110) to buy a cooker.
 
- A donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) to buy a water pump.
 
- A donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) to buy food products.
 
Branch staff appeal to good people to help this widow overcome some of the difficulties of life she is facing.
