Sadr City Branch

As part of their field visits, the staff of Sadr City branch visited the family of the widow Alia, G, A.  They found that, following the death of her husband, she now lives with her parents. She has three children to support, two of whom have had to leave school due to the family's difficult financial situation.

Alia herself, suffers from diabetes and severe anemia. One of her daughters is severely short-sighted due to a defect in both eyes. The cause for this condition is unknown, as Alia cannot afford to pay the cost of tests and medical reviews.

This poor mother is in need of:

-       Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £18) for each child (x3)

-       A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £70) to pay for the medical reviews her sick daughter needs

-        A donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35)to pay for treatments for the mother.

This desperate lady has turned to Shakiry Charity in the hope that benevolent and compassionate people would extend a helping hand to her.
