Najaf Branch:
Mrs Dalal N.H recently paid a visit to Najaf Branch. She has been facing destitution since the death of her husband who was killed in the Samarra district whilst delivering logistical support to the 'Popular Mobilization' factions in 2016.
She lives with her three orphans, aged between 6-10 years, in a house which was donated by a kind person. They live together in one room and their “home” lacks the most basic of necessities.
Since her husband’s death, she has been caring for her orphans. Although she has no financial resources, some of the children attend school supported through help she receives from kind and benevolent people.
Dalal is seeking compensation from the Department that deals with victims of terrorism, as her husband was a victim of terrorism. Meantime, she does not have enough income to meet her family’s living needs.
This widow is in dire need of: -
- Monthly sponsorship for the three orphans of 25.000 IQD (approx. £18) each orphan.
- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £110) to buy an air cooler.
- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £110) to buy mattresses, blankets and other household items.
The branch staff appeal to good people not to fail to help this poor lady and her orphans.
