Basra Branch:

 Staff from the branch visited the widow Ashwaq A.A, who endures ongoing hardship. 

They found this widow takes care of her orphans, as well as her divorced daughter, following the death of her husband.  Ashwaq herself suffers from chronic diabetes and needs constant treatment. The family lives together in a house which Ashwaq inherited, which lacks many basic necessities, and the children all attend school.

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship for the orphans of 25.000 IQD (approx. £18) per orphan per month.
- A donation of 265.000 IQD (approx. £190) to buy a refrigerator.
- A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £70) to buy a boiler.
- A donation of 165.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.
- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £110) to buy mattresses and bedding.
 
The branch staff appeal to all compassionate people to extend a helping hand to this widow to help her support her orphans.
