Very Urgent
Staff from Grayaat Branch paid an inspection visit to the disabled and blind patient Haidar M. Abdul Hussein, who was admitted to hospital after he lost consciousness due to his poor health and hallucinations. (He suffers from a psychiatric condition).
His poor wife, has to support and provide for their five children, in addition to taking responsibility for her ill husband. She did not even have any money to take him to hospital. She, herself has had several strokes previously.
Sadly the husband’s condition is rapidly deteriorating due to the progression of his disease and their worsening living conditions.
This poor family urgently needs the support of benefactors.
The family lives in a rented house costing 250.000 IQD (approx. £180) per month. Relatives and generous benefactors collect money towards paying the rental every month. The family is so poor that they do not have the means to buy their daily needs or pay for the treatment for the husband / father.
The tragedy and desperation of this family can be visibly seen and felt.
This needy family desperately needs: -
- Ongoing monthly medical sponsorship of 250.000 IQD (approx. £180) to pay for medicine and medical treatment.
- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £180) towards buying food and some basic necessities for the family.
