Branch staff visited the family of the widow Iqbal A.DH, who suffers from the harshness of life.
Following her husband’s death, this widow was left to take care of her seven orphans.
Iqbal and her children live in a rundown house that lacks the most basic provisions. She suffers from chronic diabetes and needs constant treatment. The family has no income apart from the help they receive from benevolent people, which is insufficient to meet their basic living requirements.
This family is in need of:
- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) to pay for monthly treatment monthly.
- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £18) per orphan (x7) per month.
- A donation of 265.000 IQD (approx. £190) to buy a refrigerator.
- A donation of 185.000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a washing machine.
- A donation of 165.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.
- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £110) to buy mattresses and bed covers.
The branch staff appeal to people of good hearts to extend a helping hand to this widow to help her support her orphans.
