Najaf Branch: 

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the poor lady, Muluuk. Th. C.  It transpired that she was living with her three orphans in a dilapidated house that lacks all basic requirements.  As Muluuk suffers from a hearing impairment, the interview was conducted through her daughter who sadly is unable to attend school due to the family’s poverty.

This lady receives a social security assistance of 150,000 IQD (approx. £110) per month, which is insufficient to meet the family’s basic needs.

The family is in dire need of: -

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £18) for each orphan (x3)

- A donation of 750.000 IQD (approx. £535) to restore and repair their house, especially with the advent of winter.

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £140) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £110) to buy a washing machine.

Staff of the branch appeal to benevolent people not to hesitate in helping this lady overcome some of the difficulties of life she and her family are facing.
