Najaf Branch

Among the field visits performed by the branch was one made by our staff to the family of Mrs Sharuq A I who lives in a rural area 20 km distant from Al-Abassiya.

She cares for three families living with her in a house lacking the simplest necessities.

She gets no social security benefit, but lives off the help of well-wishers.

The orphans are still in school, and it appears that the family sleeps outside at night due to interruptions to the electricity and the high temperature.

She needs:

- Monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £20) for each orphan

- A Donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £180) to buy a fridge

- A Donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £145) to buy a cooker

- A Donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £110) to buy an air conditioner

Branch staff wish good brethren not to stint in helping this lady overcome life's difficulties
