Najaf Branch

Branch staff visited the family of Isma' F M who endures poverty, being entrusted with the raising of her four orphans after the death of her husband.

She lives in the Mishkhab district in a dilapidated, room unfit to live in and lacking the simplest household necessities - fridge, cooker, air conditioner.

The children all attend school.  Their school is 10 kilometres distant from where they live.

This family has no income apart from a social security benefit they receive every two months, which is not enough to cover food and major needs.

They desperately need:

- A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £145) to buy a fridge

- A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £145) to buy a cooker

- A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £110) to buy an air conditioner

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £18) for each child (4) for their daily needs, and also so they can attend school.

Branch staff beseech all those of good heart to extend a hand of help to this family.
