Branch staff paid a visit to the widow I J A, who is solely responsible for raising four orphans

Her elder daughter left school due to her being afflicted with weak hearing in her left ear following acute tonsillitis. She now needs a surgical operation to remove the tonsils as she continues to suffer from chronic inflammation.

The son is afflicted with stunted growth and has left school due to the absence of adequate care from home or school. 

The two younger daughters still attend school but need several provisions.

The widow and her orphans live in a house which they rent for 250,000 IQD (approx. £180) per month.  The house lacks many requirements.

This family desperately needs:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £18)  for each orphan (4)

- A donation of 175,000 IQD (approx. £125) to buy a washing machine

- A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £180) to buy a cooker

- A donation of 500,000 IQD (approx. £360) to pay for a surgical operation for her daughter

Branch staff beseech people of charity to extend a hand of help to this family.
