Najaf Branch

The branch staff visited Mrs. Beida. K.N. and her family. 

This poor lady and her four young orphans suffers from harsh living conditions.  They live in a rundown house built without permission, and lacking many facilities.

The family has no income other than the help they receive from kind benefactors.  This is not enough to meet their daily living needs. Her young daughter suffers from epilepsy. And, the children had to leave school because of their poor living conditions and the mother's inability to provide their necessary school requirements.

This family is in desperate need of:

- Ongoing monthly orphan assistance of 25,000 IQD (approx. £18) per orphan per month (4)
- A donation of 250.000 IQDs (approx.. £180) to buy a refrigerator.
- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £145) to buy a cooker.
- A donation of  50.000 IQD (approx. £35) to buy an electric heater. 
- A donation of 135.000 IQD (approx. £96) to buy a TV set.
- A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £70) to buy blankets and sheets.

The branch staff appeal to all those good - hearted people to help this lady overcome the difficult conditions of life she is facing.

Please note that the branch staff was unable to speak to the lady so that she could explain her conditions due to tribal traditions, but the state of the house and the poor conditions in which this family lives were photographed.
