Najaf Branch:

Mariam H.W. recently paid a visit to Najaf Centre desperately seeking help for the conditions her family are facing.  They live in a dilapidated house. This desperate lady cares for her six children whilst her husband earns a meagre living for the family as a garbage collector.  He is unwell and suffers from kidney stones.

This poor family does not receive any assistance from the Social Welfare Department.  They have no source income other than that of her husband, which is insufficient to provide for a family.

 
This family needs:

- Monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £18) per month per orphan (x6)

- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £145) to buy a gas cooker.
- A donation of 175.000 IQD (approx. £125) to buy a washing machine.
- A financial assistance of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) to buy a heater..

The branch staff appeal to good- hearted people not to hesitate in helping this lady and her family.
