The staff of the branch visited the family of the widow (AMAL A.A) and found that they live in destitution and poverty.
 
This widow has been taking care of her orphaned daughter,who's still at school after the death of her husband.
 
They live in a rented rundown house built without permission for  225.000 IQDs monthly. The house  lacks many of the basic necessities because the widow cannot afford them.
 
The widow suffers from chronic diabetes and needs monthly treatment.
 
This family does not have any income other than an assistance from the Social Welfare Department and help from benevolent people that are not sufficient to meet their basic needs.
 
This family needs: -
 
- An orphan assistance of 25.000 IQDs (around £17) monthly.

- A financial assistance of 185.000  IQDs (around £123) to buy a washing machine.

- A financial assistance of 165.000 IQDs (around £110) to buy a cooker.
 
- A financial assistance of 150.000 IQDs (around £100) to buy mattresses.
 
The branch staff appeal to all good - hearted people to extend a hand to this widow to help her support her orphaned daughter.
