Ladies and Gentlemen, this holy month comes at a difficult time for the entire world.  It has been especially complicated for Muslim countries as most suffer from wars, destitution and disease.  There is extreme poverty for thousands of poor families, orphaned children and individuals with special needs.

Normally, at this time of the year, our Charity hosts our annual Ramadan Iftar Evening.  At this event we look forward to receiving donations towards our Ramadan Food Basket Program.

Due to the spread of the Corvid19 pandemic, we had to cancel the annual event this year.  Nevertheless, we have continued to provide humanitarian aid through our other fundraising programs, and our Staff and Volunteers in Iraq have successfully delivered food baskets during the holy month of Ramadan to many poor families registered with our  branches.

We would, however, be grateful if you can donate, whatever you can afford, towards the cost of one of our Food Baskets for a hungry family.  The value of each basket is £35 pounds, equivalent to (50,000 IQD)

                                                                                                                          
This year we are also distributing Home Hygiene Baskets to poor families to help them prevent the spread of the deadly virus.  The baskets contain antibacterial cleaning materials, soap and other protective products.

Our hope is that together we will be able to help the poor and the orphans, and draw a smile of hope from those who need us most.
