Al-Bayaa Branch:

Among the inspection visits carried out by the branch staff, one was to check up on the conditions of the widow Shayma R and her family.  

They found that she was still living in a dilapidated room in a house built without permission which belongs to her husband's children.

This widow suffers from extremely harsh living conditions. The family has no source of income except a social welfare assistance of 225.000 IQD (approx. £155) per month, which is not enough to meet the family's needs.

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship for the orphaned children of 25,000 IQD (approx. £18) per orphan per month.
- A donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £140) to buy a wardrobe to store clothes.  (Currently they store their clothes in old iron oil tanks.)
- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £170) to buy a refrigerator.

The staff of the branch and the widow appeal to compassionate people to help this family out of their tragic circumstances.
