Al Bayaa Branch:

Among the inspection visits carried out by Al Bayaa branch staff, was one to check on the conditions of a poor woman, Nagham G, and her family.

They found that she is still living in a small rented accommodation with her children and her husband.  They pay a monthly rental of 300.000 IQD (approx. £205) for this minimal accommodation.   The husband has a cart which he uses to carry goods to earn a living, but what he makes is not enough to meet the basic requirements of his family. 

This family has no fixed income and no social welfare assistance and all the children still attend school. 

This family needs:

- A cash donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £70) to buy a mincing machine so that Naghan can work to support her family.

- A monthly sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £35) to support the family.

The staff of the branch and this poor lady appeal to the people of charity for help.
