Branch staff paid a follow-up visit to the widow Hajar A.A. and her family.  They found that they are still enduring very difficult living conditions.

This widow provides care to her divorced daughter and three children, some of them still at school.

They all live together in a one-room rented house costing 150.000 IQD (approx. £105) per month. Their dwelling lacks many basic facilities. The family receives a social welfare assistance every two months, which is insufficient to meet their basic living requirements.

This family needs:

- A donation of 265.000 IQD (approx. £185) to buy a refrigerator.

- A donation of 165.000 IQD (approx. £115) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 185.000 IQD (approx. £130) to buy a washing machine.

- A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £140) to buy an air cooler. 

The branch staff appeal to kind people not to hesitate in helping this widow and her family out of their difficult circumstances.
