Najaf Branch

The branch staff visited the family of Mrs. Nesreen A.H, who are suffering from destitution and poverty under the difficult circumstances that the country is going through.

This widow has been taking care of her six orphans since her husband was martyred in the demonstrations which took place in the province of Najaf. 

The poor mother and her children live in rented accommodation costing 110.000 IQD (approx. £75) per month.  Their basic home lacks many commodities which the mother cannot afford to buy due to their desperate financial situation.

This family has no source of income except for help they receive from kind benefactors. This is not enough to meet their basic living requirements.

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £18) per orphan (x6) per month.

- A donation of 145,000 IQD (approx. £100) to buy a washing machine.

- A donation of 196.000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a cooker.

The branch staff appeal to all good - hearted people to help this desperate widow .
