Sadr City Branch:

The branch staff visited the family of Mrs Alawia Y.L to view their living conditions. The husband is elderly, works in the building sector and the family has no source of income or help except what the man makes. 

This woman supports her young daughter, who is mentally retarded, suffers from chronic epilepsy and a psychological condition and needs treatment. 

She also supports her son, who suffers from chronic asthma, in addition to her responsibility for her divorced daughter and her three children.

The rest of her children are still at school. The house they live in lacks the simplest supplies.

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) to pay for the medical treatment of the sick children (x2) 

- A donation of 25.000 IQD (approx. £18) for the children attending school (x3) 

- A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £70) to provide the necessary school supplies. 

- A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £175) to buy a refrigerator.

- A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £105) to buy a cooker.

The staff of the branch and the lady appeal to people of charity for urgent help.
