We are committed to providing support to the many ill, disabled and destitute people in Iraq, especially during the Covid19 pandemic.  This is a particularly trying time for all people of all nations. The virus is relentless, people cannot travel to work, people have lost jobs, money is scarce, and more and more families are facing deprivation and hunger.

We aim to strengthen our humanitarian mission and create greater awareness of the sufferings of others; and to seek donations and support so that through our Branches in Iraq, we can reach out and deliver food and basic hygienic products to poor families living below the poverty line.

The cost of a food basket or hygienic hamper for a poor family and orphans is £35 (approx. 50.000 IQD).  We welcome all donations, and encourage Donors to donate what they can afford towards this humanitarian cause.  We are all suffering the effects of the pandemic, but more so poor folk with hungry families who cannot afford to buy food.

We thank our Founder, Mr Abdul Sahib Shakiry, the staff and volunteers of Shakiry Charity in London and the branches in Iraq who have worked tirelessly day and night to communicate with donors, to collect donations, to deliver food, and to generously support the needy.
