Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of Sahar. A.A. They found that she continues to suffer from the difficult living conditions she is living under.

Sahar has been solely responsible for the care of her six orphans, following the death of her husband. Some of the children still attend school.

This poor widow lives in a house she inherited.  The house lacks many basic living facilities which she cannot afford due to her complete destitution.

This family has no source of income except a pension of 200,000 IQD (approx. £140 Sahar receives monthly, and support from kind benefactors.  This is insufficient to meet the family’s most basic living requirements.

This family desperately needs:

- Ongoing monthly orphan sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £18) per orphan (6) per month.

- A donation of 195.000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £170) to buy a refrigerator.

- A donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) towards a food basket.

Staff from the branch appeal to good-hearted people not to hesitate in helping this widow and her six orphans. .
