Elderly grandmother in need of support for her orphaned grandchildren.

Bayaa Branch:

Among the inspection visits by our branch staff, was one to the elderly lady Fadhila.K. 

They found that she is still in need of help to support her four orphaned grandchildren following their mother's death and their father leaving them.  This family are destitute - they have absolutely nothing to live a normal life.  They have no monthly income, and no social welfare assistance.  They rely solely on the help they receive from good-hearted people, from time to time.

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25.000 IQD (approx. £ 18) per orphan (x4)

- A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £170) to buy a refrigerator.

Staff from the branch and the elderly widow appeal to people of charity to help this family out of their tragic situation.
