Staff from the branch visited the family of the orphan (Ali.M) to render support and assistance following a tragic accident that the young boy was involved in. Ali was badly burnt by benzine when the house he was living in caught on fire. He needs regular treatment to reduce the toxicity he suffered during the accident.

Ali became an orphan after the death of his father, and his mother deserted him.  He now lives with his grandparents who provide as much support as they are able to.  They themselves have special needs.  They do not have any fixed income, and are reliant on the support of kind hearted benevolent people.

This family needs:

• A regular monthly medical sponsorship of 50000 IQD (approx. £25) for the orphan
• A donation of 250000 IQD (approx. £130) to provide for the family’s basic needs
