On a field visit to a family of orphans in need of basic support, our staff visited the home of (Nesreen.G.A).

When her husband passed away she was left to provide for six orphans.  Some of them are still students.

This poor widow endures the harsh difficulties of living with poverty and sickness. She lives with her orphans in a house bereft of basic, essential commodities.  She does not get any support at all, except that which she receives through the generosity of kind, good people who take pity upon her circumstances.  This is not enough to fulfil her family’s living needs.

This family urgently needs:

-        Ongoing monthly orphan sponsorship of 25000 IQD (approx. £15) per orphan (x 6)

-        Ongoing monthly medical sponsorship of 50000 IQD (approx. £15) per month

-        A donation of 250000 IQD (approx. £130) to buy washing machine

-        A donation of 100000 IQD (approx. £50) to buy ceiling fans

Staff of the branch appeal to good hearted people not to hesitate in helping 

this widow and her orphans overcome the harsh conditions of life.
