Desperate widow appeals to compassionate people for help to support family
The branch staff visited the widow (Intissar. H.F) and her family, who appealed to Grayaat Branch for help.
This mother lives with her four children in an old caravan, which is unfit for living.
She is solely responsible for her children. Three of her sons suffer from neurological, genetic diseases which cause growth issues.
Intissar works for a daily wage in one of the state’s departments. The money she earns is not enough to meet her family’s needs in terms of food, clothing and medical treatments.
This family needs:
- Medical sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for each sick child (x3)
- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to purchase wooden panels to repair and restore the caravan roof.
- A Donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy a sewing machine for the daughter who sews to provide extra financial support to the family.
-A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to purchase an air cooler.
- A Donation of 125.000 IQD (approx. £75) to purchase a water heater.
Staff at Grayaat Branch support the widow in her appeal to benefactors to extend a helping hand to her and her afflicted family.
