Poverty-stricken woman appeals to righteous people for help

Staff from the branch paid a visit to a penniless woman called Sundus, F. They discovered that she lives with her brother in a dilapidated house lacking many basic amenities. The brother does simple work, driving a cart in order to earn some money to provide for essential necessities i.e. rent, electricity, food. Apart from this, the family does not have any other source of income other than the help they receive from time to time from charitable people.

This family needs :

• Ongoing sponsorship of 50,000 IQD ( approx. £30 ) per month.
• A donation of 100,000 IQD ( approx. £56 ) to buy a carpet.
• A donation of 150,000 IQD ( approx. £84 ) to buy a gas heater.  
• A donation of  80,000 IQD ( approx. £45 ) to buy a gas bottle.

Branch staff and the family appeal to people of righteousness to extend a helping hand.
