Widow and her three orphans appeal to righteous people for help.

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of the widow Ruwaida, M, S.  She lives with her three daughters in a small rented house costing 250,000 IQD ( approx. £140 ) per month.

Upon examining her situation, it was found that she does not have any source of income except the social welfare assistance she receives which amounts 225,000 IQD ( £126 approx. )  She allocates this income to pay the monthly house rent.

Following the death of her husband due to the kidney failure, Ruwaida took on sole responsibility and care of her daughters.  The girls suffer from congenital asthma. Ruwaida has to bear the costs of treatment and medical supplies.  Two of the daughters are continuing with their studies.

The family are reliant on the support which they receive from benevolent families.  However, this is insufficient to cover their daily requirements.

This family needs :

• Ongoing monthly orphan sponsorship of 25,000 IQD ( approx. £15 ) per month for each orphan. (x3) 
• A donation of 200,000 IQD ( approx. £115 ) to buy a washing machine.
• A donation of  50,000 IQD ( approx. £30 ) to buy a heater.
