Widow seeks help from benevolent and merciful people.

Staff from Basra Branch visited the family of the widow Nihad, H. H. They found that they live in a rented house costing 225,000 IQD ( approx. £126 ) per month. The house lacks some basic necessities which Nihad cannot buy due to her financial distress.

This mother took on sole responsibility of her four orphans following the death of their father.  Three of the children attend school.

The family suffers from very harsh living conditions, and need someone to lend a helping hand. They do not have any financial income or salary other than the help they receive from benevolent people, and it is not sufficient to meet their needs.

To help this family, they need : 

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of IQD 25,000 ( approx. £15 ) per month for each orphan. (x4)
• A donation of 100,000 IQD ( approx. £60 ) to buy mattresses.
• A donation of 100,000 IQD ( approx. £60 ) to buy a boiler.
• A donation of 200,000 IQD ( approx. £114 ) to buy cooker.
• A donation of 300,000 IQD ( approx. £170 ) to buy refrigerator.

The staff and the widow wish for assistance from people of benevolence and humanity to overcome their life difficulties.
