Projects To Support Needy Families Registered With The Branch

Under the support and guidance from staff at Shakiry Charity London office, Bayaa Branch embarked on a program to develop and support small projects aimed at equipping and encouraging needy families into self-employment; the objective being that individuals develop confidence and skills to overcome the obstacles and difficulties they face, and become self supportive.

In this instance, we helped Chasbiyah, B  develop sewing skills, and her and her family have benefitted financially through her skills at sewing children’s dresses.

The branch has supported her to select popular designs from local markets. She has been assigned to make up 125 meters of cloth for Bayaa Branch, and the beautiful finished products will be distributed to needy families registered with the Branch.

The staff of the branch and needy families extend their thanks and gratitude to the senior management in London, headed by Mr Abdul Sahib Al-Shakiry, for their support to these projects and the advancement of the needy families.
