FAMILY SUFFERING FROM POVERTY AND DESTITUTION NEED SUPPORT.
11/04/2023     Help No: H050000944

Najaf Branch:

Family suffering from poverty and destitution need support.

Our staff visited the family of Rabab H.M. who lives with her husband and three children in a house that lacks the most basic living necessities.

One of the children, Fatima suffers from health problems and needs special medical milk, which they buy monthly.

The father works as a driver of a mini truck rickshaw vehicle, collecting empty cans and scrap.  His income is minimal.

This family receives assistance from Social Security of 250,000 IQD (approx. £140) monthly, which is not enough to meet the basic needs of a family of 5.

To help this family, they need:

  • Ongoing medical sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) to pay for her daughter’s treatment.
  • A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £140 ) to buy a washing machine.
  • A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £115 ) to buy a cooker.

Staff from the branch appeals to benevolent people to extend a helping hand to this mother and her family.
