Widow needs help to support elderly mother and son.

Our staff visited the widow  Zahra J. H She is living under extreme harsh conditions along with her elderly mother and her orphaned son who is continuing with his studies.  They live in a house which she inherited. 

Zahra’s husband passed away and left this family in a desperate situation. They have no breadwinner to provide for them.  Zahra receives a small income of only 75,000 IQD (approx. £45) per month from a retirement benefit.   Apart from this, she relies on support offered from charitable people.  This does not meet the basic needs of her family.

During the field visit, it was found that they are in dire need of many essential needs.

To help this family, they need:

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for each orphan. (x1)
• A donation of 350,000 IQD (approx. £200) to buy a refrigerator.
• A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £115) to by a cooker.
• A donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) to by mattresses.

This struggling widow appeals to benevolent people to help her provide for their needs.
