Needy grandmother with orphaned granchildren

Staff from Sadr City Branch branch visited the home of a grandmother,  Fahima H. A. and her children. They live in a slum area, and suffer chronic illnesses.

This grandmother assumed custody of her daughter's orphaned children when the parents died following a fire in their home. One of the children has weak eyes and suffers from restricted sight, whilst the other two are in school.  They are in need of many basic items that the grandmother cannot afford to provide for them.  In addition, the grandmother herself needs medical treatment and continuous reviews.

This family needs:

• Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £15) per month for each orphan. (x3)
• A donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) to pay for some medical needs.
• A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £155) to buy a water-cooling fan (air cooler).
• A donation of 75,000 IQD (approx. £50) to buy a water motor.

Please help this ailing grandmother support her orphaned grandchildren.
