Najaf Branch:

Young mother seeks financial support for her minor orphans

Staff from the branch visited the family of Mrs. Fatima M.  She lives in a  house in a slum area, where she takes care of her six orphans, two of whom are studying and four of them are quite young.

One of her orphans suffers from a chronic disease, which costs the family 150,000 IQD (approx. £90)in terms of medical treatments and supplies. The family has no financial income other than the help they receive from generous benefactors, which is insufficient to meet their living needs.

An application to qualify for social care support has been submitted.

This family is in dire need of:

  • Ongoing orphan sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month for each orphan (X6).
  • A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a refrigerator.
  • A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a washing machine.

Staff from the branch appeal to kind hearted people to extend a helping hand to this family suffering from difficult life conditions.
