Widow with four orphans in need of a helping hand.

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of the widow Jinan A.K, who now lives with her four orphans in an agricultural area, following the death of her husband.  She is solely responsible for the care of her children.

One of her orphans suffers from white matter disease of the brain  This condition causes difficulty in speaking.  The treatment costs 45,000 IQD  (approx. £27) every two months.

Despite their difficult living conditions, the orphans are continuing with their studies.  

Jinan receives a social benefit of 250,000 IQD (approx. £150).   She receives additional support from kind benevolent people.

This family needs:

• Ongoing monthly medical sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month.
• A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a cooker.
• A donation of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) to buy blankets and mattresses.
• A donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £90 ) to buy an air cooler fan.
