Family appeals to benevolent people for support.
Basra Branch Staff of the branch visited the family of Fatima A. M. The family comprises of four individuals living in a rented house costing 210,000 IQD (approx. £130) per month Two children attend school. This family’s house lacks the most basic necessities, which the family are unable to buy due to their poverty.
The father used to work in a restaurant earning a daily wage, but he left his job due to his poor health condition. The family does not have any fixed income or a monthly salary. They are reliant on donations from kind benefactors, which is insufficient to meet their needs.
The mother suffers from kidney disease and lives with one kidney. She needs regular monthly treatment which costs 40,000 IQD (approx. £25) per treatment.
The family lives in tragic and difficult conditions. They seek help from kindhearted and benevolent people.
