Sick elderly woman appeals for help

Our staff visited the family of the elderly woman named Suhama A.Y.  Her husband left her despite her old age and the diseases she suffers.

Suhama now lives in a small rented house, which is unsuitable for her and her son.  The home lacks the most basic of necessities for a normal life style.  We found that she was living under extremely harsh conditions.

To help this family, they need: 

• A donation of 350,000 IQD (approx. £210) to buy a refrigerator.
• A donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a washing machine.
• A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy an air cooler fan.
• OR\ ongoing monthly family sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) to support their essential needs through the Shakiry Charity program for basic commodities

The family appeals to people of goodness and charity to help provide some of their needs.
